CHICAGO - It’s not too soon to start planning for the holiday season. This year, forgo the mess of cooking and become part of Chicago’s second oldest Thanksgiving tradition —Thanksgiving at The Drake Hotel. One year after Chicago’s first Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Drake settled into what would become a timeless tradition.

This year marks Executive Chef Franco Diaz’s first Thanksgiving with the historic property. A native Chicagoan, Diaz intends to arrange a home-style Midwestern classics while incorporating the best quality ingredients from around the world.

Each guest will enjoy food and festivities with seatings at 11:45 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. The Drake’s ambiance will include live music throughout the day, and a kid’s creation station room featuring a face painter, caricaturist and balloon twister in The Drake Room.
