Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza's Orchids at Palm Court Receives 2007 American Culinary Federation Achievement of Excellence Award

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -  The American Culinary Federation (ACF) honored Orchids at Palm Court, Cincinnati, Ohio, with an Achievement of Excellence Award at the 2007 ACF National Convention in Orlando, July 21-24.

Orchids at Palm Court was one of two facilities in the Hotel/Hotel Restaurant category to receive the award, which recognizes foodservice establishments that exemplify a commitment to excellence in their area. Criteria for the award included being in operation for at least five consecutive years, nomination by an ACF chapter, member or individual in the foodservice profession, and being a recognized industry leader.

Orchids at Palm Court, located as the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, features a globally modern influenced menu created by Chef Todd Kelly. The menu is updated seasonally based on the availability of the freshest ingredients

More than 2,100 chefs, culinarians and foodservice representatives attended the ACF national convention, which featured a trade show with 125 plus exhibitor booths, professional development seminars, unique culinary demonstrations, the sold-out second annual Certified Master Chefs dinner, national-award presentations and culinary competitions.
