DUBLIN, Ireland -  Dublin's iconic canal side hotel, Hilton Dublin, is delighted to announce the completion of an extensive €7.5 million refurbishment - a revamp which brings stylish, contemporary looks and cutting-edge facilities to this popular venue.

Located close to the city's main shopping and business areas and next to the Charlemount Luas stop, Hilton Dublin is the ideal location for meetings, business trips and leisure visitors.

The hotel's 193 guest rooms have been restyled in natural colour tones and chic furnishings, with the additional benefits of air conditioning and plasma screen TVs. Combined with a relaxing room layout, guests will find a tranquil, peaceful setting to unwind.

Erwin Verhoog, General Manager of Hilton Dublin says, "Dublin is an exciting city and our investment in the hotel highlights our commitment to the destination and to improving our guest experience.

"We are delighted with the refurbishment, Hilton Dublin has never looked so great and is now set to welcome existing and new visitors of all ages. "

Additional changes include the hotel's Third Stop bar, which has received a €300,000 makeover and been renamed Stíl bar. The new bar features three specially created 'zones', each designed to complement your mood, no matter what time of day. The bar features a Java Republic coffee corner, an extended lounge area, with comfortable furnishings and plush carpets and a dedicated cocktail area - perfect for post-work drinks and friendly get-togethers.

The restaurant has also been rebranded, now known as Uisce, redecorated with warm colours and contemporary furnishings to create a comfortable and intimate dining experience. Diners can look out at Dublin's Grand Canal while dining on traditional Irish cuisine at Uisce. Both Stíl bar and Uisce restaurant have plenty on offer for guests as well as local residents and businesses.

An extensive renovation of the reception and surrounding lounge area gives a welcoming atmosphere with its floor to ceiling windows and outdoor terrace, providing the perfect location for an informal business meeting or to meet up with friends over a coffee.

Rich colours and traditional soft furnishings transform the hotel's main banqueting suite and pre function area - The Charlemont Suite - which can cater for up to 400 delegates or 280 guests banqueting style.
