Hilton Glasgow Hotel Business Development Team Adds Two New Directors And A New Manager

GLASGOW, Scotland - Hilton Glasgow Hotel has recently welcomed three new members to its business development team: Sarah Crossley, Grant MacGadie and Tracy Clark.
Sarah Crossley is the new director of business development. She has worked with Hilton since 2000, and in 2004 became reservations supervisor at Caledonian Hilton. In 2007 she took up the post of revenue manager at Hilton Edinburgh Grosvenor, a post she held for the next two years. Sarah will be in charge of all revenue streams within the hotel and will work with a team of around 15.
Grant MacGadie, the hotel’s new director of sales, joins from his position as director of sales at the recently refurbished Doubletree by Hilton, Dunblane Hydro. In his new role at Hilton Glasgow Hotel, Grant will oversee the hotel’s entire sales function, including account management and new business generation. Grant has a sound knowledge of the hotel industry, having started his career with Hilton in 1999. Initially in a customer service role, Grant rose through the ranks, holding hotel sales manager roles before becoming account director for all government accounts for Scotland in 2006.
Tracy Clark, the new conference and events manager, has been involved in the hotel industry from a young age, starting out at the Dalhousie Castle hotel and the Barcelo Edinburgh Carlton. At Hilton Glasgow Hotel, her duties will include managing all conferences, meetings and private functions within the 319-bedroom hotel.

With their combined knowledge, experience and expertise in the hotel industry and in business development, they will be an extremely valuable addition to the hotel.”
