Hilton Hotels Offers Exclusive Star-Studded Access To The 52nd Annual GRAMMY® Awards

MCLEAN, Va. -  As The Recording Academy® prepares to honor the best musicians of the year, Hilton Hotels is offering its guests an experience of a lifetime. Hilton is celebrating its 22nd year as a Recording Academy partner and the official hotel sponsor of the annual GRAMMY® Awards with special prize-packages for Hilton HHonors members and Hilton Team Members around the world. In preparation for Music's Biggest Night®, Hilton is giving HHonors members an opportunity to participate in a charitable auction for the chance to win one of four star-studded prize packages, valued at $12,000 each.

One Hilton GRAMMY prize package will be awarded to each of the winning bids received from Hilton HHonors members in the Americas, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. Participants will partake based on their region of residence, and will bid online at www.hilton.com/grammys using their HHonors points as currency. HHonors points from the winning bids will be converted into a cash donation to benefit the GRAMMY MuseumTM a non-profit organization that focuses on educational and public programs to celebrate the power of music.

From the internationally televised GRAMMY Awards to the high-profile, intimate MusiCares Gala, winners will enjoy the music industry's premier events while mingling with its brightest stars. Hilton will also provide travel packages for the MusiCares Person of the Year silent auction to aid the organization in providing a safety net for musicians in times of need.

Hilton also urges its Team Members to celebrate the powerful influence of music through an additional global sweepstakes. The Hilton Rock Star Team Member giveaway allows employees to submit music, video and stories depicting the impact of music on their lives. Whether demonstrating proficiency for a particular instrument, or a convincing costume of a favorite star, team members can submit their most inspired endeavors for consideration through January 11th. Judging is based on creativity, originality and overall talent.

Eight Hilton Team Members will be selected from around the world to receive VIP treatment including roundtrip airfare for two to Los Angeles to attend the GRAMMY Awards and official GRAMMY Celebration After Party, along with a complimentary three night stay at the historic Hilton Checkers. Entrants must work at a Hilton-branded property or as a team member of Hilton Worldwide, in a job function that supports the Hilton Hotels brand.

The 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held on "GRAMMY Sunday," Jan. 31, 2010, at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles and once again will be broadcast live in high definition TV and 5.1 surround sound on CBS from 8-11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
