Hilton Hotels & Resorts Named No. 1 Hotel Brand In Australia For The Ninth Consecutive Year

2013 Annual Report From BDRC Continental Also Declares Hilton No. 1 Business And Leisure Brand Amongst Australian Travellers

SYDNEY and MCLEAN, Va. - For the ninth consecutive year, Hilton Hotels & Resorts was named no. 1 hotel brand in Australia in the annual BDRC Hotel Guest Survey. Hilton has also retained its position as the no. 1 business and leisure hospitality brand.

BDRC carried out interviews with more than 1,000 people, including 503 business travellers and 520 leisure travellers that ultimately ranked Hilton Hotels & Resorts as the top hospitality brand in Australia.

The metrics that were used included both prompted and unprompted awareness, brand loyalty (business), leading choice and used in the last 12 months. In each of these metrics Hilton Hotels & Resorts scored favourably over its competitors with a staggering 91 percent of responders aware of the Hilton brand when prompted.
