LONDON - Hilton London Tower Bridge welcomed children and teachers from St. James' Primary School in Southwark, England so they could celebrate Christmas in style. The award-winning hotel put on a special Christmas lunch to celebrate its partnership with its chosen charity, the Mayor's Fund for London.

St. James' Primary School was selected to enjoy this unique dining experience as one of 74 London schools that benefit from the charity's Breakfast Club programme. It ensures children from the capital's most deprived areas start the day with a free, healthy breakfast and are ready to learn.

The Mayor's Fund for London is supporting 2,500 children in 74 London schools over the next few years. Raising awareness and fundraising with key partners like the Hilton London Tower Bridge is vital to supporting the programme.

Matthew Patten, CEO of the Mayor's Fund for London, said, "It is thanks to partners like the Hilton London Tower Bridge that we can continue to support young Londoners with programmes like our Breakfast Club. I have no doubt that the children will have a fantastic time celebrating Christmas at the Hilton London Tower Bridge and thank the team for this generous gesture and all of their ongoing support."

Stephane Weit, general manager, Hilton London Tower Bridge, said, "Hilton London Tower Bridge has a long-term commitment to the Mayor's Fund for London charity, and we are delighted to play our part to make a difference to young Londoners."

About The Mayor's Fund for London
The Mayor's Fund for London's exists to give young Londoners the skills and opportunities to get a decent job, escape the threat of poverty and play a full part in London's future as the greatest city on Earth.

Our work focuses on three priorities:

Our work reaches every London borough. Hungry children in 50 London schools start the day fit and ready to learn thanks to our Breakfast Clubs. Our literacy and numeracy projects are helping 5,000 young Londoners improve their reading and maths. The next 12 months will see us find over 1,500 decent jobs and opportunities for unemployed young Londoners. Over the next 3 years, our programmes are on track to reach 50,000 more young Londoners in many of the capital's most disadvantaged communities
