Hilton Naples Earns 2013 TripAdvisor® Certificate Of Excellence

NAPLES, Fla. - Hilton Naples has been honored with a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award. The accolade, which honors hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Only the top-performing 10 percent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award. This is the fourth consecutive year Hilton Naples has earned this award.

To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor, and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.

The announcement today piggy backs on TripAdvisor® announcing Naples, Florida being ranked among their Top 25 Travelers' Choice U.S. Destinations. According to TripAdvisor, "Sunny Naples is a popular, sophisticated and charming beach destination on the Gulf of Mexico." This is the first year Naples has earned a place on this list.

This is the third nationally recognized award presented to Hilton Naples this past month. The first was the prestigious four Diamond award, which is defined by AAA as, "Upscale in all areas. Progressively more refined and stylish. Physical attributes reflect enhanced quality throughout. Fundamental hallmarks include extensive amenities and a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail." Only 4.8 percent of the 30,000 lodgings approved by AAA make the Four Diamond list. This is the 13th consecutive year Hilton Naples received this designation.

Another award recently received was the Hilton Award of Excellence, given to the top Hilton hotels based on outstanding performers for loyalty, service, condition, and cleanliness based on guest surveys and Quality Assurance scores.
