Hilton Osaka Announces Large Scale Renovation Of Dining And Banquet Facilities

OSAKA, Japan - Hilton Osaka, part of Hilton Hotels & Resorts growing portfolio of more than 570 properties around the world, today announces plans to start a phased refurbishment of its dining and banquet facilities, covering three floors. After the renovation, Hilton Osaka will have three new restaurants, two mid-sized banquet rooms and 35 additional guest rooms. The total cost will be 2.8 billion yen, with completion expected by July 2018.
Renovations start with the addition of 26 new guest rooms on the tenth floor, which is projected to be completed by the end of December 2017. In Q1 of 2018, the third-floor space will see the addition of two mid-sized banquet rooms, 200 square meters each, a refurbished executive lounge with increased capacity and an exclusive members-only club called The Golden Key Club. The third-floor renovation is expected to be completed by 31 March 2018. From August 2018, three brand new restaurants will be added to the second floor - a 116 seat all-day-dining restaurant, a 64-seat grill and a 90-seat Japanese restaurant serving teppanyaki, sushi and kaiseki. The two specialty restaurants will also feature two private dining areas, a sake bar and a wine room. It will be the largest-scale dining renovation ever undertaken by Hilton Osaka, to provide guests with a revamped dining experience unique to Hilton.
The latest work builds upon Hilton Osaka's transformation masterplan, which includes the completion of banquet areas and ballroom refurbishments in 2013, renovation of all guest rooms in 2014 and a remodeled lobby in 2015. The latest refurbishments will also extend to MYPLACE CAFE & BAR, which opened in March 2017.
