PETALING JAYA, Malaysia -  Hilton Petaling Jaya's food and beverage blog, www.ZestPJ.com, has won the prestigious Best Web 2.0 Mash Up Award at the TravelMole 2010 Web Innovation Awards.

ZestPJ.com triumphed over numerous heavyweight websites in this category, including the Air New Zealand website. The hotel's website achieved the highest average score in website presentation, usability, content and use of technology.

Launched in February 2009, ZestPJ.com has a logical and self-explanatory interface and interactive features, enabling visitors to easily learn about the hotel's latest Food & Beverage promotions and entertainment offerings. Visitors can post their feedback on their experiences at Hilton Petaling Jaya's dining outlets on the website. Visitors can also rate the blog and share their favourite posts with friends through various social networks such as Facebook, Delicious, Dig and Twitter. In addition, ZestPJ.com is able to track other blogs in which bloggers discuss the hotel's dining outlets and hyperlink those blog entries to ZestPJ.com. The website also contains a user-friendly online reservation form for all dining outlets in the hotel. In the near term, the team will begin adding recipes, cooking video clips, discussion polls and online contests to the website.

The TravelMole 2010 Web Innovation Award aims to recognize the most creative and groundbreaking companies that are driving innovation in the Asian online travel market.
