Hilton Phuket Arcadia Donates 54,000 Bottles Of Drinking Water To Flood Victims In Thailand

PHUKET, Thailand - Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa donated 54,000 bottles of drinking water to help the communities affected by the severe flooding in Thailand.

On October 21 2011, Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa, presented three trucks full of bottled drinking water to Phuket Governor, Mr. Tri Akkaradeecha, at Phuket Red Cross, for the distribution to Thai flood victims, which is estimated to be more than 23 million people in 62 provinces of Thailand.

Mr. Andre Gomez, general manager of Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa said, “Our hearts go out to the victims of the worst flood in Thailand in 50 years. Together with all of our team members at Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa, we want to extend our assistance to our fellow citizens in Thailand who are facing this situation.”

“The majority of the donations came from our team members who put their money together to help their fellow Thai. We hope that our donation to Phuket Governor will assist in alleviating the situation, so they can all go back to their normal lives soon. Our thoughts are with the Thai people during this difficult time.”
