Hilton Shenzhen Shekou Nanhai Appoints Leslie Teo As Director Of Operations

SHENZHEN, China - Hilton Shenzhen Shekou Nanhai announces the appointment of Leslie Teo as director of operations. Teo will report to John Burger, general manager, Hilton Shenzhen Shekou Nanhai, and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Fitness Centre and other relevant operating departments.
John Burger said, "Leslie brings to the role 20 years of experience and proven success in the hospitality industry. He is a great asset for the hotel operations team, and we are confident that he will bring the hospitality service into a new level."
Commenting on his new challenge, Teo said, "I am very excited to get a chance to be part of the team to open this hotel and I am always proud of leading this hotel operation team to set the foundation of Hilton Shenzhen Shekou Nanhai. I am confident that this hotel will be the bright spot in the vibrant city of Shenzhen."
In his former role at The Langham Shenzhen, he was responsible for establishment and strategy development of the F&B operations of this opening project, including six outlets and 500-seats for banquet.
Prior to The Langham Shenzhen, Teo first joined Hilton Worldwide in 2008 as director of food and beverages in Hilton Beijing Capital Airport, developing all F&B concept and strategizing for this new opening project, overseeing four restaurants and two bars including 1800-seats banqueting. He then worked in Hilton Chongqing and Hilton Shanghai Hongqiao. Teo also held positions with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in China and Singapore.
Teo is a Singaporean who holds diploma in hotel management and hospitality management from IHTTI School of Hotel Management in Switzerland.
