Hilton Sibiu Appoints Manuela Meres as Conferences and Events Manager

SIBIU, Romania - Hilton Sibiu today announced the appointment of Manuela Meres as Conferences and Events Manager. Manuela Meres will report to Nicolae Aron, general manager, and will be responsible for hotel's conferences and banqueting services. Meres joins Hilton Sibiu from Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest, where she held the position of PR and Marketing Executive.
Nicolae Aron, general manager, Hilton Sibiu, said, "I am happy to have Manuela Meres joining the team. We have great ambitions in the events segment and I am confident that together we will develop this component of our business, offering our guests conferences and banqueting services of the highest level."

About Manuela Meres
In her former role at Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest, Meres was responsible for hotel's marketing, communication and CSR campaigns. Prior to Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest, Meres started her career in 2007 as Office Manager at Capgemini Romania, a consulting, technology and outsourcing company, member of Capgemini Group, and one year later she took over the responsibilities in the Marketing and Communication department. Meres's first project in this new position at Hilton Sibiu will be the launching of the campaign "Elegance is Easy," a campaign designed to increase awareness on the quality of services and to encourage the guests to experiment the elegance of a five-star environment.
