Hilton Surfers Paradise Responds To The Growing Demand For Family Style Accommodation

GOLD COAST, Australia - Hilton Surfers Paradise, the Gold Coast’s newest holiday destination, has been successful in its bid to cater for the growing demand for more flexible accommodation options.
General Manager David Kelly said the complex had been specifically designed to provide more flexible and spacious holiday options and offer a combination of hotel rooms and one, two and three bedroom residences.
According to Gold Coast Tourism statistics parents with young children were the most frequent domestic overnight visitors to the Gold Coast in 2010, a perfect alignment for Hilton’s latest hybrid accommodation offering.
The statistics also demonstrated a growing 29% of domestic travellers to the Gold Coast prefer apartment style accommodation.
“With families making up such a large segment of the market, this demonstrates just how important it is to offer flexibility in the choice of room types, as well as more spacious options,” Mr Kelly said.
“Our facilities are so diverse you can enjoy time away with your family in the comfort of a spacious residence one weekend, then indulge in a romantic break in the serenity of a hotel room the following weekend.
”Our self contained residences include full kitchens, laundries, and separate living and dining spaces, and are ideal for families, groups or anyone looking beyond a traditional hotel for superb accommodation.
