CHIBA, Japan -  Hilton Tokyo Bay, a Tokyo Disney Resort® Official Hotel, has published a sequel to its popular original fairy tale, the inspiration for its Happy Magic Room, a unique experience-based style hotel accommodation.

Entitled, Little Witch Tiara and Happy Magic,  the beautifully illustrated picture book is based on the winning story from a writing contest held to celebrate the first anniversary of Happy Magic Rooms. It was released March 1, 2010.

Since its launch in March 2008, the "Happy Magic Room" concept has enjoyed an excellent reception from guests, with children writing letters to the main character of the original picture book and repeated requests for a continuation of the story.

The sequel story opens with little witch Tiara wishing to meet with the barn animals that she became friends with in the original story. The Spirit of the Forest gives Tiara permission to travel out of the Magic Forest on condition that no one discovers she is a witch. On her way to see the animals, Tiara meets a sad-looking elderly woman. Tiara gathers her animal friends together to help grant the grandmother her wish to reunite with her grandson. The heart-warming story celebrates a pure belief in friendship and the wish to make someone happy.

Upon release, a copy of the sequel and original picture book will be on display in all Happy Magic Rooms. The books will also be sold in the hotel shop and the hotel's website, in Japanese at www.hiltontokyobay.jp.

1st Picture Book Little Witch Tiara and the Magic Forest
Tiara is a young apprentice witch studying in the Magic Forest. Too busy with her studies to make friends, she decides to write a magic letter to the outer world. Barney the Donkey finds the letter and, together with his friends Kirby the Frog, Oscar the Cockerel and Frida the Cat, travel to the Magic Forest to meet Tiara. Guided on their journey by Lucas the Owl, a messenger to the Spirit of the Forest, they are welcomed at the entrance of the Forest by the guardians, Dragon and Unicorn. The Spirit of the Forest gives the animals a Magic Key and lets them into the magical fantasy world. Tiara and the animals finally meet and celebrate with a party.

2nd Picture Book Little Witch Tiara and Happy Magic
Tiara's hard work at school is recognized when the Spirit of the Forest gives her permission to go out of the Magic Forest to visit her animal friends, on condition that no one discovers she is a witch. En route Tiara meets a sad-looking elderly lady who says that she wishes to see her grandson, Nicola. Tiara and her friends travel to a seaside town to find the grandson who, after hearing their story, is reunited with his grandmother. Happy about making someone's wish come true with the help of her friends and without using any magical powers, Tiara returns to the Magic Forest. The Spirit of the Forest, who has observed what occurred, gives Tiara and her animal friends silver-colored pendants. In the Magic Forest, a celebration party is held in the bright moonlight.

About Happy Magic Room
The "Happy Magic Room" commenced operation on March 18, 2008 and is based on a "Magical Fantasy" concept where guests ‘live the story' by staying in an experience-based room. Receiving a letter from the main character of the picture book at check-in or playing with interactive features in the guestroom, such as the "Magical Mirror" and "Magical Key", create a unique guest experience and a sense of being part of the fairy tale.

In-room fun and devices which appear in the original story
The "Happy Magic Room" offers several devices including a "Magical Mirror" and "Magical Key Hole" which encourage guests of all ages to actively interact with the fairy tale and experience the fantasy of the Magic Forest.

Letter from Tiara to young guests
"Tiara's Letter", which appears in the story, is presented to children staying in a Happy Magic Room. Moss green letter paper, inspired by the Magic Forest, provides a backdrop to charming illustrations of characters from the picture book.

Elevator landing areas and corridors: part of the Magic Forest
From the time guests step out of the elevator the fantasy world of the Magic Forest begins. On the elevator landing guardians of the Magic Forest, Dragon and Unicorn provide a warm welcome, corridors are lined with a colorful carpet and fairy tale animals, Lucas the Owl, Barney the Donkey, Oscar the Cockerel, Kirby the Frog and Frida the Cat, are painted on room doors.

Colorful Design for a world of magic
Modern and stylish room interiors combine forest leaf green and sparkling blue purple colors. The ceiling is decorated with an image of the sky with white cloud puffs. Walls are decorated with charming paintings of the farm animals and a hand-painted magical tree extending over the ceiling, adding to the artistic feel of the room. Bed boards and counters are made of plain white wood, creating a warm and relaxing ambience.
