ROCKVILLE, Md. - Hilton Washington DC / Rockville Hotel & Executive Meeting Center today announced appointment of Riva Neam as Director of Social Catering.

Tim Bowes, director of sales and marketing, Pyramid Hotel Group, said, "Her customer oriented approach to social catering will add tremendously to our client's experience as she has excelled in previous catering roles as a senior manager and director of catering in the past. Riva's depth of experience is a valuable addition to the great team we have here at Hilton Rockville, and we're glad to have her back."

Ms. Neam brings 12 years of experience to her new role at Hilton Washington DC / Rockville Hotel & Executive Meeting Center. In her former role at Doubletree by Hilton, she was responsible for all catering business activities.

"It's like I came home," says Riva on her first day back. "The people here are like family and I'm thrilled to be back at such a great place to work." Riva returns to the hotel and her mentor, Michael Zimmerman, director of catering, to directly lead the coordination of large social events such as weddings, mitzvah's, galas, and holiday parties.

Prior to Doubletree by Hilton, Ms. Neam held the role of Senior Catering Manager at Hilton Washington DC / Rockville Hotel and Executive Meeting Center for four years. Ms. Neam is a member of NACE, The National Association of Catering Executives and ISES, The International Special Events Society.
