Hilton Worldwide Wins People’s Choice Stevie Award For Favorite Customer Service
Customer Satisfaction Increased Across Hilton Worldwide Hotel Brands

MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton Worldwide announced today that it won the People's Choice Stevie® Award for Sales & Customer Service - Favorite Customer Service in Leisure and Tourism. The Stevie Awards is an international competition recognizing excellence in disciplines crucial to business success and for the first time the general public was asked to vote for their favorite providers of customer service. Hilton Worldwide received its People's Choice Stevie Award at the fourth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service gala on Monday, February 22 in Miami Beach, Florida.

The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service honor the accomplishments of sales, customer service, and call/contact center professionals worldwide. Hilton Worldwide was favored in the leisure and tourism category with more than 87,000 consumers voting in this year's Stevie Awards.
Hilton Worldwide and its portfolio of more than 3,500 hotels across 10 brands in 81 countries are industry leaders in guest satisfaction. Hilton Worldwide has consistently enjoyed increased customer satisfaction ratings across its portfolio of hotel brands.
In addition to this week's Stevie awards, the company's leadership position in customer satisfaction and service delivery is evident from the numerous accolades the company has received over the last year. Hilton Worldwide had multiple brand winners in "J.D. Power's 2009 North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Study." The Hilton brand also received the Reader's Choice for "Best in Business Travel" and "Best Hotel WebSite" by Business Traveler magazine as well as "Best Hotel for Meetings" and "Best Hotel for Business Services" by Executive Travel Leading Edge Awards in 2009.
The Stevie accolade can be attributed in part to several customer service initiatives including Hilton Worldwide's decision to co-locate its guest assistance center with its global call center in Dallas to streamline the customer experience and reduce the number of transferred calls. The company also launched the "Voice of the Customer" survey to continuously track satisfaction of inquiries to call centers, also leading to increased satisfaction. Hilton Worldwide's customer service division has enabled representatives the opportunity to work from home, which has been a proven factor to achieving even higher customer satisfaction ratings on post call surveys.
