ZURICH, Switzerland -  On 3 February 2010, Hilton Zurich Airport once again hosted the Annual General Meeting of the Lazarus Cavalry Regiment (LRR).

The Lazarus Cavalry Regiment is a charity that provides people with special needs in Switzerland the opportunity take part in therapeutic horseback riding. Horse riding can be a great alternative to conventional medicines and the LRR raises money to help support families who cannot afford the special-education riding lessons.

For this year's LRR Annual General Meeting, the Hilton Zurich Airport donated both the meeting room and refreshments. Hilton Zurich Airport also supported the charity's other board meetings held at the hotel throughout the year. The LRR Charity Ball will also be held at Hilton Zurich Airport in 2011 and all money raised will be donated directly to the charity.

Peter Pfändler from the Lazarus Cavalry Regiment said: "Whoever enters the Hilton Zurich Airport immediately feels the spirit of the Hilton. This spirit obviously is part of the unwavering professional attitude shown by the Hilton Management.

The Lazarus Cavalry Regiment feels privileged by the hotel's cooperation. For either meetings or a charity ball, the support of the Hilton Zurich Airport is unique, straightforward and extremely generous.

The Lazarus Cavalry Regiment sincerely thank the team at Hilton Zurich Airport for their cooperation in helping people who are less fortunate."

Hilton Zurich Airport has been a member of the LRR for many years and of the annual membership fee, 95 percent is given directly to support the families in need.
