MCLEAN, Va. - Choosing a wedding gift for engaged and newlywed couples just got easier and more meaningful, thanks to the new Hilton Honeymoon Registry. The online registry allows the opportunity to gift memorable experiences and accommodation upgrades throughout a couple's honeymoon hotel stay. From a romantic dinner or a couple's massage in Maui, to snorkeling in Barbados or cocktails in Versailles, France, experiences gifted through the Hilton Honeymoon Registry will leave a lasting impression and memories that will last a lifetime.

The new registry launches as more couples are looking to plan honeymoons. According to XO Group Inc., creators of TheKnot.com and WeddingChannel.com, honeymoon planning is on the rise for the first time since 2009. For the past several years, brides reported that they were postponing honeymoons, due to the economy, to keep wedding budgets in check (study released in 2013, based on 2012 data).*

Launched in partnership with HoneymoonWishes.com, the Hilton Honeymoon Registry allows couples to view sample registries and offers advice on planning the perfect honeymoon. In addition to registering for components of a destination wedding or honeymoon, engaged couples have the option of designing a personalized website that can easily be shared with wedding guests.
