This Christmas, the eskimos will find their way to Chef Prabhu’s innovative Igloo creation as he presents an interesting twist to the traditional moist Christmas fruitcake with mixed preserved fruits soaked in brandy, cognac, apple liquor and rum for six months. This eye- // catching delight undertakes an igloo shape covered with 50percent snowy white almond marzipan which balances the sweet flavours from the fruitcake.

Be enchanted by the exquisite glittery snow globe fitted with a miniature cottage village creation within. Dig in the three delicate layers with the base layer of moist ladyfingers topped with crunchy apple and sweet cranberry compote, which is perfectly complemented by the bursting flavors from the eggnog mousse.

This artsy piece of tree-log-look-alike definitely does not look as simple as it is. In conjunction with D9 Cakery’s first milestone of retailing festive treats, Chef Prabhu took the inspiration from D9’s main concept of highlighting the impressive six-metre jewellery showcase and presented three jewellery inspired Yule logs: crystal, pearl and diamond. Each of these gems are represented by different flavours from a light champagne matched with sweet cranberries to a 72percent Valrhona dark chocolate brownie with raspberry cremux and the ultimate sweet crunchy hazelnut dacquoise with white ivory chocolate and brandy mousse.
