Hotel Guests’ Small Change Adds Up for Children
Guests Staying At Hilton Vilamoura, As Cascatas Golf Resort And Spa Will Be Using Their Small Change To Make A Big Difference

VILAMOURA, Portugal - Guests staying at Hilton Vilamoura, As Cascatas Golf Resort and Spa will be using their small change to make a big difference to disadvantaged children this winter, as part of Hilton in the Community Foundation’s annual fund-raising campaign.
“Small Change, Big Difference” will run in Portugal for the first time throughout October, November and December this year. The campaign invites guests staying at selected Hilton Worldwide hotels in Europe to add an optional €1 onto their room bill during their stay. Thanks to the generosity of these guests the campaign has raised more than €1 million for children’s charities since its inception in 2004.
All proceeds raised from the campaign in Portugal will be used to support Lar “Os Pirilampos” – Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Albufeira. The charity aims to help vunerable children by providing them with a family structure and by helping with their reintegration back into the community.

In total, 147 hotels in 20 countries will be involved in the programme this year helping to maximise the money raised.
