Jeddah Hilton Hosts Greek Food Odyssey From May 30 To June 5
May 30, 2010
JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia - Greek cuisine enthusiasts will be able to embark on a Greek Food Odyssey to discover the unique Mediterranean flavors at Jeddah Hilton’s Al Safina Restaurant. In association with Hilton Athens, from May 30 to June 5, in-house guests and visitors can savor a wide variety of both traditional and modern Hellenic fare served at a lavish daily dinner buffet.
An additional highlight of the week will be a Greek Food Cooking Class hosted by Chef Michalis Iroglidis, of the landmark Hotel Athens, on June 4th from 1 to 4 pm at Al Safina restaurant. All food creations are skillfully prepared under the supervision of Chef Iroglidis, who will be visiting Jeddah to present his interpretation of typical Greek specialties to the hotel’s residents and visitors.
The seven-day event features a daily changing selection of all-time favorites ranging from Tzatsiki, a Greek yoghurt with finely chopped cucumber, garlic and olive oil, to Keftedakia, fried meatballs with garlic and bread, and the ever popular Mousakka, potato topped with fresh eggplant, onion, minced beef and béchamel crème.
