DEAD SEA, Jordan - In celebration of Hilton Worldwide's second annual Global Week of Service, October 6 - 12, more than 40 volunteers from King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre managed by Hilton ("KHBTCC") participated in three separate community projects in Amman and the Dead Sea.

Community service is a tradition embedded in Hilton Worldwide's culture, and acts of volunteerism occur year-round across ten distinct brands and 4,000 properties. KHBTCC's efforts are a part of Hilton Worldwide's week-long celebration of the company's commitment to serving the communities where we live, work and travel, which this year includes hundreds of hands-on service projects globally.

In Jordan, team members from Hilton KHBTCC helped to renovate Dahiet Al Hussein Public Health Center in Amman by taking on a range of responsibilities including cleaning, painting, hanging new curtains, making essential repairs and installing signage. At the Dead Sea, meanwhile, the Princess Basma Center and Anaqeed Association - two projects dedicated to families and youth care - were also given special treatment as the KHBTCC teamdonated carpets, curtains and laptops and helped install the gifts in their new homes as part of their community work."

Our team members at Hilton KHBTCC continue to demonstrate great enthusiasm and commitment to their local communities and this week's Global Week of Service they have extended their support further to include three significant and worthy causes," said Kamel Ajami, Hilton Worldwide country manager - Jordan. "We thank our partners for giving us the opportunity to help and support and we hope that our project will make a positive impact to help benefit the wider community," Ajami added.
