EDINBURGH, UK -  As households across the country get ready to give their homes a thorough Spring clean, Hilton Edinburgh Grosvenor has revealed what it's cleaners find on a daily basis.

Along with a diamond engagement ring, keys to BMW and 30 yr old bottle of whisky, a room full of nuts and a steam cooker are just some of the more unusual items of lost property which have been left behind by guests at the hotel in the past year.

Amongst standard lost property items such as airline tickets, passports, wallets and mobile phones, housekeeping staff have uncovered false teeth, heart medicine and strangely enough, a pressure cooker.
