AUCKLAND, New Zealand -  October sees Hilton Auckland taking part in Breast Cancer Action Month by adding a touch of pink to the hotel, Bellini bar and White restaurant. From the 1st until 31st October, Hilton Auckland is selling a Pink Room, a Pink Mocktail and a Pink Dessert, proceeds of which will be donated to The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation and will help to raise awareness about breast cancer, breast health and for education programmes.

For supporters of Breast Cancer Awareness this is a great opportunity to enjoy Hilton Auckland and its pink offers in the month of October whilst simultaneously supporting this worthwhile cause.

PINK ROOM
Taking pink as the theme, one of the best rooms in the hotel has been customized for this special occasion and is available for booking in October at the rate of NZ$450 per night. Located on the Eastern corner of the hotel, the Hilton Deluxe Harbour View room offers breathtaking 180 degree views of the Waitemata Harbour and the islands of the Hauraki Gulf.

BELLINI BAR
During October, Bellini Bar will be shaking with “Pink Action,” a mocktail designed specifically for Breast Cancer Action Month by Bellini mixtologists William Mahe and Loic Steiniger, awarded NZ Bartender of the Year at the recent 2010 Culinary Fare.

WHITE RESTAURANT
Cristiano De Martin, executive chef at White restaurant at Hilton Auckland, has created for the month of October a Pink Dessert that offers the best of local and seasonal produce.

The delectable feature dessert of the month is strawberry pannacotta with rose petals and pink chocolate pralines. With Spring upon us we can only expect an explosion of fresh flavours!
