JAYA, Malaysia -  Probably one of the best-known restaurants around town, Paya Serai with two decades of popularity is recognised for its best tasting Malaysian and International delights. This all day dining restaurant exudes a trendy yet relaxing ambience with a Malaysian touch, making it a perfect venue for business meetings and social gatherings. The restaurant’s interior design was by renowned expert designer, Dan Kwan of TriBeCa Asia Pte Ltd.

The restaurants seats up to 240 guests, and dining at Paya Serai is enhanced with soothing mini-water bays to create a tranquil feel.  The overall colour schemes concentrate on cream, brown, black, mother-of- pearl, metallic and silver. In addition, the action centers on the open kitchen, where the chefs busy showcasing their skills creating plenty of visual excitement and at the same time reassure diners on the freshness of ingredients and produce used.

While dining there, take some time to appreciate 15 art pieces, created by Nor Hanem B. Mohd Nor, a local abstract artist. The painting works are richly textured, ornate and decorative, revealing a strong sense of tradition and legacy that complement the restaurant’s design. Employing homegrown skills, Nor Hanem experiments with fine sand, merging them with rich and deep vibrant colours to create stunning works.
 
The brigade of chefs at Paya Serai has substantial experience in preparing international fare and their specialties are in Malaysian cuisines and local hawker delights-definitely worth mentioning is the restaurant’s famed Ramadhan spread served only during the fasting month!

The outlet serves daily Hilton breakfast at RM45++ (adult)/ RM27++ (child), buffet lunch at RM68++ (adult)/RM45++ (child) and buffet dinner at RM75++ (adult)/RM45++ (child). High tea buffet on weekends is priced at RM48++ (adult)/RM29++ (child) on weekends.

For light eaters, Paya Seari a la carte menu offers a good choice of highly recommended local dishes, western main courses, pastas, and pizzas to healthy sandwiches.
