Renovations Completed At London Hilton On Park Lane

New Executive Rooms And Suites Available

LONDON -  London Hilton on Park Lane launches its new executive rooms and suites after the completion of a £5 million refurbishment across six floors. The refurbishment took place over five months, with the hotel discreetly closing off sections of the hotel to ensure guests would not face any disruption.

Room Design
“The contemporary designs in soothing and welcoming shades help to provide total comfort and promote feelings of well-being and elegance. We chose natural shades such as taupe, blue and green to give guests the warm feeling of home combined with the luxury of  Hilton London on Park Lane,” said general manager Michael Shepherd.

Renowned Interior Designer, Lynne Hunt of Hunt Hamilton Zuch developed the concept for the new Executive rooms. Lynne, who specialises in interior design for the hotel and leisure industries, used her meticulous designs to create something contemporary and fresh, combined with a sense of luxury and comfort.

The rooms aim to feel like a home away from home with the furniture collection custom designed with comfort in mind. The room consists of elegant pieces such as a charming desk chair and residential-style armchair and footstool. The rooms have also been fitted with new window seats to take advantage of the magnificent London views the hotel has to offer.

The bathrooms have been developed so guests can avail of either a three or four piece bathroom, both with a separate shower cubicle. The bathroom design is light and airy with ivory wall and floor tiles, complimented with granite vanity tops, and inset mirrors creating a clean and plush palette of materials.

Guest Elevators
A £2.5 million elevator project was completed to install a Destination Management System into the four guest elevators to reduce waiting time and efficiently take guest to their chosen destination. The system operates through an exterior panel on each floor, where guests can select their destination. The system then chooses the most appropriate elevator and guests are told which one to take. Three out of the four elevators have also been improved with the interior and exterior undergoing a complete refurbishment. The fourth elevator is due to finish renovations in November.

Other Refurbishments
There has been a revamp of the Grand Ballroom, the Wellington Ballroom and the Harvest Suite, which have all been fitted with new carpet and décor to give a re-vitalised look.
