NEW YORK, N.Y. - It was announced today that effective immediately, Tammy LeBlanc has been appointed as general manager of the 571-room Hilton Québec, located in North America's oldest city.  A native of Canada, LeBlanc has over 18 years of hospitality management experience specializing in the areas of revenue management, business development, marketing, renovations and guest services.  LeBlanc will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's day-to-day operations of this AAA-Four Diamond hotel, which is Hilton's flagship in Quebec province.

In a career spanning over 18 years, Tammy has proven to be a progressive hotel manager in the areas of revenue management, business development, marketing, renovations and guest services.  Her entrepreneurial vision and her commitment to achieving successful long-term results have garnered her key positions at hotels in the provinces of Ontario, Québec and New Brunswick.  Most recently, Tammy served as general manager of the 419-room Hilton Toronto Airport where she significantly improved and increased Team Member Engagement, RPI growth and revenue growth while managing multiple renovation projects totaling close to $7M.

Prior to her role at the Hilton Toronto Airport, Tammy was general manager of the 197-room Hilton Saint John and oversaw the Saint John Trade and Convention Center, which together, combines 27,000 square feet of meeting and conference space.  During her five year tenure at the Hilton Saint John, Tammy improved revenue, market share and customer satisfaction scores while motivating her team to win the prestigious 2010 Hilton Community Service Award for The Americas and 2009 Sales Team of the Year award.  Additionally, Tammy spent two years as Director of Business Development of the 486-room Hilton Montréal Airport.

Tammy attended Oulton's College in Moncton, New Brunswick and holds an Honors Diploma in Travel and Tourism. 

She and her husband, Stephan, will be relocating to Québec City with their two children, Alexandre and Nicolas.
