BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Prince William, Duke, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, launched their inaugural visit to the United States at The Beverly Hilton on Friday, July 8, 2011 where they attended the Variety Venture Capital & New Media Summit which addressed how investors are driving technological advancements in shaping the entertainment industry.

The first stop on their three-day business and philanthropic visit to Southern California, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were greeted at The Beverly Hilton by Neil Stiles, President of Variety and escorted to the Beverly Hills Ballroom where they joined the in-progress panel discussion "Case Study on Tech City."
