King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre Managed by Hilton Hosts NESA Schools As Part Of Its Special Themed Meetings Program
June 03, 2012
DEAD SEA - King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre managed by Hilton (KHBTCC), has launched a series of activities aiming to promote its special themed meetings program reflecting the center's new approach in handling meetings, through special set up ideas, customized menus and other personalized services.
Along these efforts, KHBTCC hosted the Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools (NESA); an association of more than 100 American and International schools in the Middle East and the Asian subcontinent.
NESA's board members held their 3-day annual Spring Board Meeting and retreat for school heads at Jordan's largest convention centre recently. The delegation included members representing over 10 different countries including India, Pakistan, UAE, Oman, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
The conference also heard from two distinguished guest speakers; Dr. Jeff Clanon of the Society of Organizational Learning (SOL) and Dr. Teresa Arpin of Transformation Learning Systems who addressed the important topic of leadership development.
KHBTCC took the opportunity to discuss further collaboration and opportunities with NESA including the organisation's twice-yearly education conference.
David Chojnacki, Executive Director at NESA, said: "Our board members had a wonderful experience at King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre. The venue has it all: superior facilities, top notch IT and AV systems, great location and the cherry on the cake was the fine service provided by the team members".
"We will definitely consider the venue for our future events and we look forward to working together again", added Mr. Chojnacki.
