Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa voted as 'Best Destination Spa'

Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa, the first Hilton Worldwide Resort in China, was voted “Best Destination Spa” at the Asia Spa & Wellness Festival Gold Awards on 21 March 2009.

Commenting on the award, Mr. Jean-Pierre Mainardi, General Manager of Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa, said: “We are extremely honoured to receive this recognition from industry experts. Opened in December 2005, Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa is set amongst lush tropical gardens and on 400 metres of white, powdery beach. Since then, the resort has introduced several innovative services to enhance the resort experience, such as Spa Valets to help guests personalise their treatments; the “Holistic Journey” package at The Spa Retreat, designed to promote wellness through its spa treatments and new healthy food menu; customised dining options for children; value-added packages for families; wedding packages for couples, as well as spa and golf packages for leisure enthusiasts. The Asia Spa & Wellness Festival Gold Awards are one of the region’s most prestigious awards, recognising outstanding achievements and services provided by spas, wellness centres and resorts across the region. •    Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa features a total of 501 guestrooms, suites and villas. It commands a prime location on 400m of unspoilt beach front at the western end of Yalong Bay, a 30-minute drive from the city of Sanya and the international airport.
