Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa Appoints New Director Of Business Development

SANYA, China -  Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa, China’s first Hilton Worldwide Resort, recently announced the appointment of Ms Sharon Wang as its new Director of Business Development. Sharon will be responsible for driving the business forward in one of the most dynamic Asian markets.

On her latest role, Sharon said: “I am pleased to be joining the Hilton family at Sanya, and am looking forward to building on the hotel’s popularity among travellers, and cementing its position as the leading luxury resort in Sanya.”

Prior to this, Sharon was Director of Business Development at Hilton Hefei, where she helped to bring the business to another level, reaffirming the hotel’s standing as one of the best business hotels in China within two years since its opening in 2007. She was also instrumental in the re-branding of Qingdao Double Tree by Hilton.

Sharon has an outstanding track record in the hospitality industry, with over 16 years of experience. Before her career with Hilton, she held various key positions in marketing, sales and revenue management at renowned hotel brands such as Sheraton, Hyatt and Sofitel.

Commenting on Sharon’s appointment, Mr Jean Pierre Mainardi, General Manager of Hilton Sanya & Spa said: “Due to her extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Sharon will be a strong asset to the resort’s business development team in continuing its successful business strategy. •    Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa features a total of 501 guestrooms, suites and villas.
