In celebration of Hilton Worldwide’s third annual Global Week of Service, Oct 19 – 25, more than 50 volunteers from The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel are joining efforts to raise funds for Rafael Medina, a local child battling childhood cancer. The Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach, Calif., announced today that they will partner with Streamline Finishes, a premier painting company based in Laguna Hills, California to repaint the hotel beginning on November 7th. During this time, the resort is committed to protecting the environment through sustainable practices that compliment their existing green efforts.

The Waterfront Beach Resort Awarded Leadership Level In California Green Lodging Program

The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel was recently certified by the State Of California's Department of General Services as a Green Lodging establishment. Qualification for the achieved leadership level includes a comprehensive checklist and physical review of the property by state officials. Leadership Level Hotels are required to achieve a minimum field survey score of 300 and have written environmental policies in place that meet all seven of the California Green Lodging Program's criteria.
