Caribe Hilton, one of San Juan, Puerto Rico’s most renowned beachfront hotels, is celebrating the recent unveiling of the multimillion dollar Paseo Puerta de Tierra pedestrian trail, which connects Caribe Hilton with historic Old San Juan. Now, guests of Caribe Hilton can walk, run or bike to historic Old San Juan – no car needed. This on-foot accessibility to one of Puerto Rico’s most beloved neighborhoods enables Caribe Hilton the opportunity to offer guests a new experience that truly connects them with the local culture, and the hotel aims to celebrate this newfound connectivity.
Caribe Hilton welcomes the addition of the brand new Caribar – a destination bar and lounge that blends Puerto Rico’s culinary influences with the resort’s heritage to deliver some of the most creative craft cocktails on the island.
From Palmer House®, A Hilton Hotel – Chicago to Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico, 20 storied Hilton Hotels & Resorts properties have been designated to join the prestigious Historic Hotels of America™ organization. The official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation®, Historic Hotels of America recognizes and celebrates the finest hotels for faithfully maintaining their authenticity, sense of place and architectural integrity. To qualify for the program, hotels must be at least 50 years old, designated by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior as a National Historic Landmark or listed in or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places, and have historic significance.
On August 15, 2014, Caribe Hilton is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Piña Colada and its place in history as the island resort where the popular, official drink of Puerto Rico was born. To celebrate the occasion, this Puerto Rico resort is welcoming guests with a special Piña Colada inspired offer.
