Twenty Hilton Hotels & Resorts Properties Honored by Historic Hotels of America

From Palmer House®, A Hilton Hotel – Chicago to Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico, 20 storied Hilton Hotels & Resorts properties have been designated to join the prestigious Historic Hotels of America™ organization. The official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation®, Historic Hotels of America recognizes and celebrates the finest hotels for faithfully maintaining their authenticity, sense of place and architectural integrity. To qualify for the program, hotels must be at least 50 years old, designated by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior as a National Historic Landmark or listed in or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places, and have historic significance.

Hilton St. Louis Downtown At The Arch Announces Completion Of A Multi-Million Dollar Enhancement Project

Today, Hilton St. Louis Downtown at the Arch announced the completion of a multi-million dollar renovation of the hotel's public spaces, guestrooms, restaurant and lounge as well as meeting rooms. Located in the heart of downtown St. Louis in the historical building of the former Merchant Laclède National Bank, Hilton St. Louis Downtown at the Arch offers convenient access to many of the city's attractions, including the Gateway Arch shopping, dining and entertainment districts and sports stadiums.

Hilton St. Louis Downtown Joins Portfolio of Hilton Worldwide Managed Hotels and Resorts

Hilton Worldwide today announced the addition of the 195-room Hilton St. Louis Downtown to the growing portfolio of Hilton Worldwide managed hotels and resorts. Keith Gundlefinger, the general manager of the previously franchised hotel, will stay on to provide operational continuity under the management of Hilton Worldwide. Gundlefinger will report to Area Vice President, Thomas Loughlin.
