Hilton Hotels & Resorts was honored as Best Business Hotel Brand in North America by Business Traveller Asia-Pacific during the annual travel awards ceremony hosted in Hong Kong last month. Hilton also received second place for Best Business Hotel Brand in Middle East/Africa as well as Europe.

Damian Muscat, a barman at Hilton Malta and an acclaimed Maltese cocktail maker has placed 2nd at the IBA (International Bartenders Association) World Cocktail Championship. Held in Warsaw, Poland during the 60th IBA Congress in April, the World Cocktail Championship was contested by a total of 57 countries. Using his original recipe ‘Highway to Heaven’ Mr Muscat won the silver medal in the Fancy World Cocktail Championship finals and was also proclaimed the overall silver medallist World Cocktail Champion.

Back in February the Brand Marketing Team held our Quarterly Team Meeting at Hilton Alexandria Old Town. The Regional Team wanted to do something fun and interesting so the Catering Sales Manager Lindsay Kahler suggested a 'Mixology' Event with their bartender Jesse Dean. With very little guidance from us, Jesse put on an extraordinary event, complete with drink options to satisfy everyone's fancy paired with delicious hors d'oeuvres.
